I finally found the best way to wash and store blueberries so they stay perfect for weeks, and it’s incredibly simple!
First, I prepare a solution of cold water mixed with 1/4 cup of white vinegar.
This vinegar bath helps eliminate bacteria and mold spores that can cause spoilage
I gently soak the blueberries in the mixture for about two minutes, swishing them around to ensure they’re thoroughly cleaned.
After soaking, I drain them in a colander and rinse them under cool running water to remove any vinegar taste.
Once rinsed, I spread the blueberries on a clean kitchen towel to air dry completely, which usually takes about one to two hours.
For storage, I line a mason jar or airtight container with a paper towel to absorb excess moisture and gently transfer the dried blueberries into it.

I cover the container loosely to allow for air circulation and store it in the refrigerator. This method keeps the blueberries fresh for up to six to eight weeks
