The Indiana Fever are preparing for a huge clash against one of the best teams in the WNBA and will be coming out with a different starting lineup.
The Connecticut Sun, currently second in the Eastern Conference standings with a 22-7 record behind the 26-5 New York Liberty, presents a formidable challenge for the Fever.
Indiana, third in the East and seventh in the league with a 14-16, are aware that getting a win against the Sun on Wednesday night will prove beneficial to their playoff odds while showing they can compete with the best in the league.
Now, due to key player Katie Lou Samuelson being absent due to personal reasons, the Fever will have Lexie Hull take her place in the starting five.
Hull is averaging 4.6 points and 1.6 rebounds for the Fever this season, but she has entered a good stretch of performances.
In the last four games, Hull has put up 10 points and 2.3 rebounds throughout that stretch, giving the Fever a solid spark off the bench.
She'll look to assist Indiana in temporarily replacing Samuelson's production. The absentee is averaging 4.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists this year.
