One of the most interesting storylines for the New York Jets this offseason was Aaron Rodgers's progression after his Achilles injury.
With Rodgers only lasting four plays in his first game last season, everyone wanted to know how he would return from such a devastating injury.
Well, putting it in simple terms, the four-time MVP winner was back like he never left, throwing darts and connecting with Garrett Wilson regularly for splash plays and touchdowns in practice.
"Felt like he was where we needed him when he first walked in," Saleh said of Rodgers this offseason. "I'm telling you, his arm is [like he's] 30 [years old].
You guys see him every day. His arm is still 30 and he's got plenty of mobility. He showed that in Carolina, getting out of the pocket several times, he does it in practice. I think he is absolutely ready to go."
With Rodgers the centerpiece for the Jets and any hopes of success in 2024, having him back to where he is 100 percent is good for the soul of Jets fans
Much has been made of the Jets' chances in 2024, and with so many divided on how far Rodgers can take this team, it's worth remembering that New York won seven games last year with what could be called below-par quarterback play.
